If you haven’t read the “Where I am” post, you should read it first, but not required. (smile)
I’m in Hebrews this morning and I came across a couple of verses that made me smile and I wanted to share them with you.
Jesus has prepared a place for us. Right here. Right now. By His sacrifice, He tore the veil of the temple in two, from top to bottom, opening up the way for us into the Holy of Holies, the presence of God.
And then I came across these verses in Hebrews 6:
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus….
We have a joy set before us. We have a hope set before us. And we don’t have to find them on our own. We have a forerunner. A leader. The creator of all things, come in the form of man, leading the way to this glorious place, past the torn veil, into the presence of our glorious God.
I love you all.
